Based on the vision from the Lord on December 5th, 1984, “Wherever you go, you will build a tabernacle of praise,” we established a church, GPPI Pondok Daud, on March 23rd, 1986. This was the first Sunday Service we conducted in Jakarta. GPPI stands for Gereja Pusat Pantekosta Indonesia (Indonesian Centre Pentecostal Church) where the Synod headquarter is located in Kediri, East Java. Pondok Daud in English can be translated as The Tabernacle of David. Our motto is “Jemaat Yang Dewasa, Penuh Puji Pujian Dan Siap Diangkat” or in English can be translated “Growing to Mature Congregation Who Is Full of Praises and Prepare To Be Raptured”.
