We are God’s children, changed from darkness to wonderful light.

Why do we rejoice? Because we are children of God.

John 1:12-13

12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

A Father wants His child to return to His home, and none of that would have happened if it weren’t for the redemption of the Lord Jesus.

How great it is for us to be God’s children, people who used to be far from God, nothing was true, but God’s Word says that now we are God’s children, and that is an extraordinary joy.

We were the ones who should have been wrathful, dead because of our sins, but redeemed by God, we were once children of darkness, taken by God to be His children.

In the past, we were children of the devil, there was a gap, but thanks be to God because we were adopted as His children.
