2 Timothy 4:6-7 (AMP)
[6] For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure [from this world] is at hand and I will soon go free. [Num 15:1-12; 28:7; Phil 2:17]
[7] I have fought the good and worthy and noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith [firmly guarding the gospel against error].

The author and finisher of our faith is Jesus. Not our children, not our riches, and our attitude until we die is

Philippians 3:14
14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Paul, until the end, still had a running mentality.

That is what we must maintain. But it turns out, many people lose their faith; their faith is shipwrecked. He still believes in Jesus, but his faith is shipwrecked, and that is the most difficult problem; any problem faced is not more difficult if my faith is shipwrecked.

The only problem is, the devil can deceive God’s children that the problem of shipwrecked faith is an ordinary problem, still more difficult than other worldly problems, still more difficult than my family’s problems, my finances, my grudges. The most difficult thing is if his faith is shipwrecked, and usually he has an ordinary mentality and says later God will help, that’s the problem.
Because the devil will deceive in such a way that the person will think that the problem is light.

Jesus is the author and the finisher of our faith. And that is what Paul said when he was about to die, I have finished my faith. If we have faith and grow in our faith, then when the Lord Jesus comes, I will be raptured, or when I die, I will be raised at the rapture.
