‘ “Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were wise. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the wise took flasks of oil with their lamps. ‘ Matthew 25:1-4
The foolish virgins brought lamps but did not bring oil. However, perseverance, faithfulness, sincerity, honesty, and the importance of the Holy Spirit in waiting for the coming of the Lord are what are important in the wise virgins, namely, remaining in obedience, as she needs the Holy Spirit, in this case illustrated as oil.
However, the virgins knew that the test would come, because everyone was asleep, but the wise virgins had reserves of oil.
The foolish virgins brought lamps but did not bring oil. These ten people were friends, knowing that they brought light, but endurance in obedience to God, endurance to remain in the power of the Holy Spirit, is what is needed. Endurance to be able to be on guard is what can be reduced.
The foolish virgins said that the important thing is that I have a lamp, but it was her own thoughts that finally controlled her, so her perseverance, enthusiasm, and joy were not considered; only the important thing is that I bring light, even though the lamp will not light if there is no oil.
The Holy Spirit speaks of the presence of God. Then did the wise virgins not advise the foolish virgins? Advise!!!
But if the Holy Spirit is not listened to, let alone other people’s advice, of course, it is not listened to.
Humans always want their own will, as if they will never be punished in hell. That is why some are raptured and some are not, some die and some are born, everything has its time, when the Lord Jesus comes, everything has its time,
