The ordination service sounds like a momentous and spiritually uplifting event! The ordination of evangelists and pastors is a significant milestone both for the individuals being ordained and for the congregations. It’s heartwarming to hear that the ceremony was greeted with joy and emotion that the congregation and the families of the ordained pastors and evangelists were able to share in this special occasion.

The message delivered by Rev. Ebzan Ch. Paulus underscores the importance of steadfastness and commitment to serving God. We will receive the crown from God in Heaven. Don’t let anyone back down, once you back down, the crown is gone. That’s a sign of power in Heaven. That power is the teaching of Christ. What God conveys is power. What God teaches is a great power.
The scripture passages from Matthew 7:28-29 and Matthew 28:19-20 highlight the authority and power of Jesus’s teachings, as well as the commandment to spread those teachings to all nations. This underscores the responsibility and mission that the ordained pastors and evangelists have been given—to continue the work of making disciples and baptizing believers.

Rev. Jacob B. Sumbayak’s speech to ordained servants of God: It is truly touching that you are walking your path of faith, and your wait is quite long.
My advice is to keep following God in your life and make God number one in your life, that’s the most important thing. If you put God first then you will be led by the Holy Spirit, then you will do what God wants and you will get the crown.
My favorite verse from my youth that I continue to hold onto is Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

May the newly ordained evangelists and pastors be blessed in their ministry and continue to spread the message of love, hope, and faith to all nations.
