The PGPI National Working Meeting held from January 29 to 31, 2024, at The Ballroom El Royale Hotel in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, commenced with the official opening by Dr. Jeane Marie Tulung, the Director General of Christian Community Guidance, represented the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs.

The meeting brought together PGPI Management from various levels, including central, provincial, district, and city representatives across Indonesia. The PGPI General Chairman, Jason Balompapueng, led the assembly.
The theme chosen for the National Working Meeting was “We are different but one” (John 17:21), emphasizing unity among diversity. Rev. Jason, the General Chairman, highlighted the significance of the gathering, especially following the PGPI general meeting (Mubes) in November 2023.


The meeting reported a remarkable attendance of 296 pastors on the first day, setting a notable record. The anticipation was high, with expectations for more activities and discussions in the following days.

During the meeting, Dr. Jeane Marie expressed gratitude to PGPI for its role as a strategic partner with the government, particularly acknowledging the collaboration with the Directorate General of Christian Community Guidance. The hope was articulated that PGPI would continue to be a force for positive change and peace, serving as a trailblazer for religious moderation. The emphasis was placed on PGPI’s commitment to developing programs aligned with the needs of the people, with a distinctive feature being the organization’s reliance on God in all aspects of its endeavors.
