The GPPI Pondok Daud congregation celebrated the 78th Indonesian Independence Day on August 17, 2023, at Cek and Ricek Court, Meruya Selatan, West Jakarta.

The event was carried out with joy, where the congregation, both adults and children, were all involved in the independence day tradition competition.

Among them are eating crackers, carrying balls, tug of war, sarong races, paper cardboard races, as well as the fun of carrying eels.

The race is done with joy, the winners are happy, but those who don’t win are also happy, because everything is for joy only.

Apart from the competition, the congregation also brought their own food and then shared it together. So apart from enthusiasm and joy, there is also a strong brotherhood that makes this independence day celebration something very joyful.

There is a deep gratitude, because the Pondok Daud congregation was born in this land of Indonesia, a land blessed by God to this day.
