The visit to the SAV Partnership Church in Malang was a significant event for the GPPI Pondok Daud representatives, as it marked their first visit outside Jakarta after enduring the pandemic. The visit took place over two days, from May 5th to May 6th, 2023, at GSJA Talitakum Malang located on Jl. Simpang Raya Langsep No.28, Banana Temple, Kec. Breadfruit, Malang City, East Java 65146.
Upon arrival, the SAV team from Jakarta, consisting of Rev. Vera Herlina and Rev. Lidya Trimahanani, was warmly welcomed by Pdt. Ary Santoso, S.H., M.A., and the SAV participating congregations. The purpose of the visit was to partake in the Healing Ministry and Prayer Service, providing an opportunity for fellowship and prayer. The focus of the prayers included intercession for the sick, the nation, the state, and the specific needs of the congregation.
During the visit, the representatives had the chance to engage in conversations with the SAV participants. They were delighted to hear testimonies that the congregations involved in the SAV had not grown weak during the pandemic. On the contrary, their faith had been strengthened. Despite the challenging circumstances, they had diligently attended prayer meetings held at the church and were eager to serve once the Hospital reopened its services.
