Luke 9:57-62 (NKJV) The Cost of Discipleship
Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.” And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” Then He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.”Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.” And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.” But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

We have already followed Jesus as His disciples for quite many years. But do we really follow Him? Are we really His followers? For them who really follow Jesus won’t have any comfort zone! We have to get out of our comfort zones.

There are two comfort zones:

If we don’t want to get out from our characters means we already feel comfortable with that. But often times we aren’t honest with our own characters. Being able to change is a privilege for us.

John 16:13 (NKJV)
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit is a great mercy but oftentimes we waste it.
Who is the Holy Spirit, God Himself, willing to stay in our heart but oftentimes we don’t pay attention and don’t honor Him. The problem is we refuse to obey Him.

There is nothing impossible for us to change because the Holy Spirit lives within us .
If we find it difficult to change is not that the Holy Spirit doesn’t have the power to change us but it is because of ourselves. We already feel comfortable with our character and the fact is we don’t want to change.

Repentance must come right from our heart. Often times we look down our characters and not see it as something that is wrong. Sin is sin.

Are you really willing to change? We must have the willing to change. It is not only in our mouth but it should come right from your heart. If we want to repent but there is no action it will be in vain. We must walk and act our repentance.
We have been chosen by God and that means we cannot walk in comfort zones.

Romans 2:4 (NKJV)
do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

We might get trapped in the comfort zone of the ministry itself. We feel we have already worked out the ministry well. Our salvation doesn’t depend on our ministry. It is depend on how we live in holiness or not.

It is not only about doing a ministry. But it is very important to know whether we do our ministry in our way or in God’s way and will. It is not a ministry that we desire and plan in our own. We mustn’t go wherever place according to our own mind and not God’s will for us. If we are strong with our own mind, we will lost what God’s will in our life and we will lost the vision of God.

We are Spirit filled people and God will surely tell us His vision. Let us desire and ask the real vision just as God has planned for us. Let us walk in the vision God has given us. Have the vision of God so that we will be led to His will. Never have your own vision and your own ways. Are you willing to follow the guidance of His Spirit?

Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God has planned a future full of hope. Let us have the same vison of the Lord. Because God has planned us to have a future with Him.

Vision is not only about ministry, but it is also about going home to our Father’s house in heaven. There are so many attractions in this world that made us lost God’s vision.

If we can start with our repentance, it must be the world of the Holy Spirit. We mustn’t have our mind of our own, because this is very dangerous since this can remove God’s vision in our life. Our mind of our own is a rebellion thought against the Lord.

We are people who don’t know our future, that is why let us surrender our life to the Lord.

Luke 9:62 (NKJV)But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

If the vision of God is already with us, then our part is to move on according to His vision.

We don’t need to worry how God will change us and how God Himself will bring us to His vision. If we doubt it then the plan of God will not be accomplished. But continually keep our faith and believe in God will bring us to His will.

Being a Christian is a person who live because of faith. Having faith and belief means that there is a good plan God has given for our life.

We leave our old life, old characters. This is a critical moment that determines our life. Jesus is coming. Let us really change and more determined to work out the vision in our life.

If we receive the leading of the Holy Spirit it is such a great privilege for us because it is not every one owns it.

When the Holy Spirit keep on working, then we don’t need to worry about our life. Because God has chosen us, then He is dealing with out life and leading us to get to the country and nation where God send us to go.

It will be pitiful if the plan of God failed because of our narrow minded thought.

We might not know God’s plan for us, but if we keep on walking in God’s love then He will tell us His plan.

Look for God’s plan for , for many other people and many other nations.

We have to change from our characters, being sincere, trusting the Lord, and the Holy Spirit will tell us His vision, even that is beyond our understanding. Be joyful and have faith. He has His own plan about us and He is working it now. Waiting for Him to work enthusiastically. Change from your character by the help of the Holy Spirit

Before the world begun, we are in our mother’s womb. God has already had planned.
This is very important moment.
After we change our life, change our character and walk in sincerity, walk in line with God’s vision let us be joyful in the Lord, happily waiting for God to work.

A righteous man is a happy man, a person who does good thing must be joyful.

2 Timothy 2:4 (NKJV) No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.

Time is limited. Wait for His vision with joyful heart and faith
The life of a believer is joyful life because there is no burden from this world. Be joyful.
This is the moment we have to fight with full of faith. We are the people who have great calling, the calling of five-fold ministries, we are not ordinary people.
